Happy Weekend!

Just about every day I get an email or two announcing a new product. I can't resist opening them. Like a little present. Not really, but it is fun and sparks ideas. Here are the best ones to land in my inbox this week.

Samuel and Sons' first collection of all weather trims. Imagine these color saturated tapes trimming your patio cushions. They say summer and fun times to me. Move inside and border a white linen curtain, shade or duvet and a crisp pop of color might be an understatement! The Martin Group has the Samuel and Sons trims in their Boston showroom.

From Schumacher, Courtrai Wovens are beautiful, luxurious to the touch and washable. Modern patterns, plains and textures reminiscent of Belgian linen and washable. If you put off doing the family room because of kids, dogs, flying milk, more or less frequent flying beer, now you can have beautiful fabrics that free you to fret about other things.

My Martha's Vineyard cottage (the one in my dreams) popped right in mind when I saw this charming lantern. Of course it also came to mind for the front hall of my summer house in Bar Harbor (my alternate housing dream). From Coleen and Company, the Maribel is available as a table lamp or hanging lantern. Works in the city too.

Cathedral is David Francis' newest chair style. Made from sustainable, renewable rattan with rawhide wrapped joints. Lounge and dining chairs available in wide selection of finishes. I can see the armed dining chair in my office, in the Satin Black finish. And a white leather seat cushion. We don't see enough rattan here in New England.

Wow, look at these rugs! Celerie Kemble's collection for Merida. A collection of 9 rugs with bold designs, elegant textures, flawless color blending. Playful yet elegant. The rug above is called Catalyst and it is made right here in Massachusetts! I'd love to build a room around it.

Interested in any of these new goodies? Send me an email for more info on how to order.
