Pink

Tangerine Tango may be 2012's color of the year, but there are still plenty of pink picks. A good thing if you love pink. I do.

On the fashion front, pink stands confidently on its own.

When dressing the home, pink is pinker and more interesting with other colors.

Brunschwig et Fils' new Les AlizĂ© collection is flush with happy pinks paired with orange and white. The judicious use of brown provides contrast without dragging down the mood.

Pink is definitely out of the nursery. It can be energetic, playful, elegant, sophisticated. Barry Dixon accomplished all and more in this beautiful living room.

Pink is a darn good investment too.

Mark Rothko's Untitled No. 17 sold for $33.68m at Christie's in May 2011. Holy cow.

For someone who loves pink I just looked around and realized there is more pink in my closet than in my decor. I should change that.

Where are you on pink?

  1. I do love pink as well. Might be genetic. I love that print in the Barry Dixon living room - so whimsical.

I love pink in almost any form....I had a psycho senior mananger in New York.....he did not like some of our office organization of paper & forms....so I retaliated with PINK 3 ring binders - a whole shelf of them.....one was labeled T.P. -----when you opened it, it had just one single paper that said "think Pink"...
