Happy Easter

Delicate. Ethereal. Pink.

Life and beauty sprung from craggy, scarred twigs.

An apt symbol of renewal for those of us celebrating Easter this weekend.

Another way of looking at old cherry trees: they are very much like some women of a certain age.

Despite the scars, they manage to carry on with grace, strength, and beauty.

Wishing for Spring! Have a lovely weekend.

Thanks for reading,
Linda Pakravan

N.B. It is too early for cherry blossoms. I took these pics last year in May 2015.

  3. The cherry blossom is gorgeous and I was just thinking how late ours is in comparison before you mentioned that these are from last year - sending you Easter greetings Linda.

Happy Easter, Linda! I spent a minute looking at my backyard today - the forsythia, crabapple and camellias are blooming. The hydrangeas are going to pop soon. I just love spring!!!!
