Far From Home

3,400 miles from Boston is a long, long way.

I'm in Alaska with my sister and her family. The topography surrounding Anchorage is spectacular.

The Chugach Mountains. This spectacular view is just a couple blocks from my sister's home.

And dramatic.

On a sunny day the blues are incredible.

Downtown Anchorage looking across Cook Inlet to Sleeping Lady Mountain.
The left slope is her hair .

I've also been touring a few of Anchorage's health care facilities (which I'll write about in another post) while squiring my sister to appointments. She was injured in a skiing accident, broken hand and a nasty concussion. But she's on the mend. Her cast was removed today.

That's all for now.
