The Rose Report, Part II

I know, I know. You can't wait another day for the goings on in my garden! Here's what it looked like this Father's Day weekend.
Pumpkin in the upper left corner.

Pumpkin listening for the chipmunks.

Pumpkin and Ilse Krohn coordinate very nicely.

A short shrubby rose. extremely hardy. Does fine without fertilizer, will bloom like crazy with fertilizer. Drought and cold tolerant. I'm sure by the end of the summer I'll find its name.

More white. Campanula, I really like this perennial. Also comes in purple.
After a week of up and down weather, our Father's Day weekend was fabulous! I hope your's was too.

The top photo with roses in front and dog in back has a very interesting and appealing composition. Very nice. Has the snake reappeared yet? You may not have seen him, but he might have seen you.

  2. Yikes, Patty. That is sinister! He may have seen you. . . in your sleep!!!

I love campanula. If our budget this year wasn't so tight with the new house I would totally plant a bunch around the yard. However, it will have to wait till next year. I envy your garden!
